Join us for ALDA’s annual Bay Area Senior Executive Dinner, a chance to connect with fellow leaders in an informal setting. The evening offers space for meaningful conversations and time with peers across the industry. It’s also an ideal opportunity to invite other senior executives from your team and introduce them to the ALDA community.
We’re excited to welcome guest speaker Rob Siegel, Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and author of The Systems Leader.
Rob’s book examines how executives lead effectively within complex, interconnected organizations; aligning stakeholders, balancing innovation with execution, and making decisions amid ongoing uncertainty. During our dinner, Rob will share insights drawn from his research, teaching, and work with senior leaders across industries.
This session will explore the skills required of leaders in a world of constant crisis and increasingly rapid technological change, and examine why previous models of leadership no longer work in today's environment. We will look at leaders who are successfully getting their companies through these difficult times, and the ways that they make this happen.
Designed for ALDA’s senior executive audience, this dinner discussion will be highly relevant for leaders across life science tools and diagnostics companies. All attendees will receive a copy of The Systems Leader.
About the Speaker:
Rob Siegel teaches leadership, innovation, and strategy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is the author of The Systems Leader. His case work and research span companies including Google, Stripe, AB InBev, Charles Schwab, and Roblox, providing a real-world perspective on how executives make decisions amid complexity and technological disruption.
