We're pleased to host our second Dinner Meeting for Women Executives this year, this time on the East Coast. This event will bring together female-member C-suite and senior executives, along with a few invited guests, to dive into "The Modern Board Conversation - Building Your Own Board Opportunities."

This is a fantastic opportunity to network, hear from a guest speaker on why you might consider joining a board, ask questions, and share experiences.

We are delighted that Rita Scroggin, will be our speaker. Rita is founder of FirstBoard.io, a curated group of accomplished female executives in technology, working together to increase the representation of women on boards, and at the highest level of corporate governance and management. Rita will present an overview of the different types of Board work, why you should join a board, and how to find and best position yourself for the role.

Following her presentation, we'll host round-table discussions on key topics where attendees can share their experiences and lessons learned. This will be an evening for experienced board members and those who have never been on a board. Of course, the program will feature networking opportunities that you can find only at ALDA events.
